1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Elena Nikolskaya, based in Brussels, Belgium, operates the Human Learning website at humanlearning.ai and develops Time Budget. Contact: elena@humanlearning.ai.

Time Budget is a personal time-allocation tool designed to capture activities through Telegram voice or text messages, classify them into life areas, and compare logged time with weekly budgets in Google Sheets. It is currently in development for personal use. The app-related sections below describe the intended processing when these features are enabled; publishing this policy does not mean the app is already available or connected to a Google Account.

2. Information we process

Please avoid including information about other people or sensitive information that is unnecessary for time logging.

3. Why we use information

We use information to provide the website, respond to messages, transcribe submitted voice notes, interpret and classify activities, save and retrieve records, calculate budget comparisons, apply your corrections and settings, deliver enabled reminders, and maintain security and reliability. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use Google user data to train general-purpose AI or machine-learning models.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your request for a service, consent where required (including authorization to connect your Google Account), legitimate interests in website security and responding to enquiries, or compliance with legal obligations, as appropriate to the processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

4. Google user data and Limited Use

Time Budget's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide or improve the time-logging, classification and budget features described here. It is not sold or transferred for advertising, data brokerage, credit decisions or unrelated purposes. Human access is limited to your affirmative permission to inspect specific data, necessary security investigations, legal requirements, or other uses expressly permitted by Google's Limited Use requirements.

5. Service providers and sharing

Information is shared only as needed for the requested features, security or legal obligations:

We may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect legal rights or investigate security incidents. We do not share information for third parties' independent marketing. Third-party services also process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Storage, retention and security

The intended authoritative store for activity entries, budgets, rules and settings is your configured Google Sheets workbook. Operational state and Google authorization credentials are retained only as needed to operate your connection and enabled features. Submitted voice files are intended for transcription, not a permanent audio archive. Specific app-side and provider retention periods will be established before the relevant integrations are activated; no fixed deletion schedule is claimed for an app that is not yet running.

Website technical information and email correspondence are kept only as needed for delivery, security, responding to your enquiry, or legal obligations. We use HTTPS for this website. App credentials must be kept outside public files and source control, and access to personal data restricted to what is necessary. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.

Providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, international transfers require appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Provider locations and safeguards must be checked before an app integration is enabled.

7. Your choices and deletion

You can edit or delete activity records directly in your spreadsheet, change reminder settings, and stop sending messages to the bot. You can revoke the Google connection at Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not automatically delete existing spreadsheet records or copies held by other services.

To request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of personal data held by us, email elena@humanlearning.ai. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Deletion includes app-held connection credentials and records where applicable, subject to legal retention requirements. Copies in your own Google or Telegram account remain under your control; provider retention and backups are governed by the relevant service's policies.

Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. You may complain to your local data-protection authority, including the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

8. Children

Time Budget is intended for adult personal use and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes and contact

We will update this page and its effective date when practices change. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel before they take effect where required. New uses of Google user data require appropriate disclosure and renewed consent before processing.
